Climbing the Well; A journey in self

We find ourselves when we are the most lost.

When we sink to the bottom of that well, we cry and cry, and cry because we don’t know what else to do, this is where the journey begins. It’s where my journey began, and yours will too.

When we are in that black well of despair, and we don’t know what way is up, or down, left or right, it can feel like there is no way out at all. It can feel like a prison, even though we cannot feel the bars, they’re still there.

Whether it’s anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, bipolar, etc, the list goes but the point remains the same; Our mental health and those intrusive thoughts that are attacking your mind are not a true definition of who you are as a person, you matter.

You are worthy of the things you dream of.

What we’re not seeing is underneath your skin, it’s in your mind, in your spirit, and your heart. It’s easy to forget how we’ve had to walk to get to where we are today, to only look at the things that we do not have.

I’m not saying that we are ungrateful, but need to look back and remember the road we’ve had to walk. Do you think anyone else could have walked in your shoes, and done the things you’ve done, the way you did them, and still have the strength to hold their heads up?
